The Meta Quest 3S is a new mixed reality headset released by Meta, priced at $299. It offers great value for money and is particularly good for gaming. However, the hardware quality is low, with cheap feeling plastic, low resolution displays, and poor quality lenses. The input methods include traditional VR controllers in the box as the primary way of interacting, alongside hand tracking which works about 70% of the time. While good for gaming, the Quest 3S is not suitable for use as a spatial computer due to its lower quality.
