Microsoft Copilot Gets New ‘Phone Connection’ Feature for Enhanced Windows-Android Integration

Microsoft Copilot AI gets a new 'Phone Connection' feature, allowing users to control connected Android devices directly from Windows 11.

Microsoft's Copilot AI for Windows 11 is getting a new feature called 'Phone Connection,' which integrates with the Phone Link app to enable more seamless control over connected Android devices. This update allows users to interact with their phone’s settings, including managing alarms, messages, and navigation functions, directly through Copilot on their desktop or laptop. The integration does not require Copilot to be installed on the Android device but does need the user to accept commands via notifications. Optimally, this feature works best with devices running Android 14 or later and the Link to Windows Service app version 3.0.01.7 or higher. Microsoft is rolling out this update gradually to users.
