Microsoft Mimics Apple's Email Undo Feature in Outlook for Mac, But with a Twist

Microsoft is updating Outlook for Mac to include a feature called Recall, which allows users to unsend emails if both the sender and recipient have Microsoft 365 or Exchange accounts within the same organization. This new feature is similar to Apple's Undo Send, introduced in 2022, but with more limitations as it only works between Microsoft email accounts. Unlike Apple’s low-tech buffer period, Microsoft's Recall can unsend messages even after a longer period, provided both users are on the same organizational network. The Recall feature is currently in beta and will roll out to all users in the future.
