Minecraft Dungeons Lives Again: A Blocky Sequel Is Coming to PS5
Mojang's voxel-based dungeon crawler is officially returning for a second round of loot-filled action in 2026.
Mojang has confirmed that its successful dungeon-crawling spin-off, Minecraft Dungeons, is receiving a sequel scheduled for a 2026 launch. Teased during the latest Minecraft Live event, the project aims to build upon the original's voxel-based combat and cooperative gameplay. Although Mojang is a Microsoft-owned developer, the sequel will maintain its cross-platform appeal, with a release targeted for the PlayStation 5 alongside other systems.
