Major League Soccer (MLS) is back for its 30th season, featuring new ways to watch games and exclusive perks on Apple TV. The season kicks off with 'MLS is Back' weekend on February 22, where all 30 teams will play. MLS Season Pass offers every game without blackouts in over 100 countries, including enhanced coverage of events like the Leagues Cup, Campeones Cup, and the MLS All-Star Game.
To celebrate the milestone, players will wear custom Apple TV sleeve patches on their jerseys, highlighting each club's colors. A new weekly show called 'Sunday Night Soccer' debuts this season, providing improved production and studio coverage. On February 28, Apple Music's Zane Lowe will host an exclusive interview with Lionel Messi, discussing his time with Inter Miami and the evolution of MLS.
The first Sunday Night Soccer game features expansion team San Diego FC against reigning champions LA Galaxy on February 23, airing live from Times Square. Additionally, T-Mobile is offering free access to MLS Season Pass for eligible customers, while DIRECTV and Xfinity have integrated MLS games into their platforms.
Fans can also enjoy a new documentary series 'Onside: Major League Soccer,' which dives into the 2024 season, and follow live scores and play-by-play tracking on the Apple Sports app. The MLS Season Pass is available for $14.99 per month or $99 for the full season, with discounts for Apple TV+ subscribers at $12.99 per month or $79 per season.
