Nest Hub Max F22 Update Rolling Out, Enabling Nest Cam Integration in Home App

last week, Google announced that the Nest Cam in the Nest Hub Max will soon be available in the Home app. This requires a Nest Hub Max firmware update, with version F22 rolling out now. Once installed (and enrolled in the general Public Preview), the Google Home app will prompt you to “Set up new Nest Cam features for Nest Hub Max.” After transferring, the Nest Hub Max is represented in the Favorites tab as a full-width camera livestream card. There is no option to return to the previous Smart Display card that shows media status, though you’ll still have the docked controls at the bottom of the Google Home app. To access Smart Display settings, find the Nest Hub Max from the Devices tab.
