- Improved Visibility: The new button is located in the toolbar, next to the address bar and beyond the extension shortcuts, making it more prominent and easier to access.
- Enhanced Functionality: When clicked, a search bar appears, allowing users to search for keywords in both open and recently closed tabs. This feature is particularly useful for users with multiple tabs open, providing an efficient way to manage and find specific content.
- Customization Options: Users can customize the button's location by right-clicking it and selecting “Toolbar settings.”
- Android Changes: Similar adjustments have been made to Tab Search on Chrome for Android, where the tool is accessible via a search bar at the top of the tab grid page.
