New emoji including Bigfoot and apple core proposed for iOS release

The Unicode Consortium has proposed a new collection of emoji that could be available on Apple devices by late 2025. The list includes 164 potential additions, with nine highlights teased in a document from the Emoji Standard & Research Working Group. These emoji characters typically appear in iOS and macOS updates within a few months of approval.
