New Find My Options in iOS 18.2: Easier Location Sharing for Lost Items

Apple's Find My app will soon let users share the location of lost items using public links, making it easier for others to help find them.

Apple's upcoming iOS 18.2 update will introduce new Find My options, allowing users to share the location of lost items with anyone via a temporary public link. This feature aims to make it easier for users to recover misplaced or stolen belongings by expanding the circle of people who can assist in locating them beyond just friends and family. The update also includes various other enhancements related to Apple Intelligence, such as Genmoji, Image Playground, ChatGPT integration, and more. iOS 18.2 is currently in beta for developers and is set to release to the public in December.
