Google Photos introduces new grid customization options for a cleaner, clutter-free view of your memories on Android.

Google Photos Adds New Grid Customizations
Key Features:
- Enhanced Grid Settings Page: Google Photos for Android is rolling out a new settings page for grid customization.
- Existing Options Retained: The familiar 'Stack similar photos' and layout density choices (Comfortable, Day, or Month) remain available.
- New 'Show Content from Other Apps' Option: This feature allows users to:
- Only Show Backed-up Content: Display photos from other apps that are backed up or awaiting backup.
- Hide Clutter from Other Apps: Automatically hide less important content like screenshots, GIFs, and memes once they are backed up.
- App-Specific Customization: Users can customize the visibility of content from specific apps (e.g., Pixel Studio, Slack, Instagram) with options to show all, hide clutter, or hide everything.
- Availability: These updates are expected with version 7.14 of Google Photos for Android, and users will see a banner notification about the new features once they become available.
