New iPad Mini Could Charge Faster with Right Accessories

The seventh-generation iPad mini will offer fast charging at up to 20 watts, but a regulatory filing has suggested it could potentially charge faster with the right accessories. A 45W USB-C power adapter, listed under the same certification as the new iPad mini, might indicate the device's ability to handle a higher wattage, possibly around 30W-35W if not the full advertised capacity.
This would be an improvement on its predecessor, which could charge at up to 25W. However, the in-box charging capability will be limited depending on the region of purchase due to certain regions selling their products without an adapter.
