New iPhone 16 Pro Max Cameras Deemed Fourth-Best in the World

The iPhone 16 Pro Max has the fourth-best camera system in the world, with its video capabilities topping the list, according to recent testing.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max has the fourth-best camera system in the world, according to DxOMark. It scored 157 points overall, behind the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra, Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Honor Magic6 Pro. However, it topped the list for video capabilities, with exceptional results in exposure, color accuracy, and texture-noise trade-off. The camera also impressed with its professional video features and color performance for images. The only con was the zoom function, which showed inconsistencies between the 2x and 5x range. This is reportedly due to the use of different sensors for each point of the range.
