Next in Line: Will the iPhone 17e Make a 2026 Debut?

Rumors about a 2026 iPhone 17e Rumors have already started circulating about an iPhone 17e that could be released in February 2026, even as the iPhone 16e is set to hit store shelves. The iPhone SE, which the 16e replaces, was updated only three times in nine years, but there's speculation that Apple may update this new model annually.
Two sources have suggested an iPhone 17e release: a leaker known as 'Fixed Focus Digital' claims to have seen evidence of a new project code, potentially for the iPhone 17e. However, the source of this information is unclear and it's very early for any February 2026 product to be publicly listed.
Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) also expects an iPhone 17e announcement 'around this time next year,' drawing parallels with Google’s mid-cycle Pixel phone releases. However, CIRP has a poor reputation for citing sources and making statistical claims without sufficient detail.
While both sources have limited credibility, Fixed Focus Digital was one of the few to accurately predict the iPhone 16e's naming.
