Nomad, an accessory brand known for innovative products, has launched a unique Universal Cable for Apple Watch. This cable combines a 100W USB-C PD charging cable with an integrated fast-charging puck for the Apple Watch. The key features include:
- A 1.5m (5ft) Kevlar-reinforced cable with electroplated metal connectors
- The ability to charge two devices simultaneously
- It can charge an iPhone, iPad, or MacBook while also charging the Apple Watch
- An integrated cable tie for organization
- Intelligent power management that defaults to the highest available wattage source
The CEO of Nomad, Noah, demonstrates how the cable can charge multiple devices flexibly. For example, plugging the Apple Watch side into an iPhone will allow the iPhone to charge the Apple Watch, and adding AirPods on the other end will charge them too. When connected to a higher-power source like a MacBook, it reverses the charging direction to power both the Apple Watch and iPhone.
