His unique power set prioritizes stealth and ambush tactics, enabling him to completely disappear from survivors' line of sight. This mechanic allows Jason to relocate silently across the map, setting up lethal surprise attacks that mirror his cinematic reputation for appearing out of nowhere. The gameplay focus shifts from direct pursuit to psychological dread as survivors must remain hyper-vigilant against a foe they cannot see.
