One UI 7 Brings New Control Over Battery-Saving Screen Dimming on Samsung Galaxy Devices

Samsung's One UI 7 gives Galaxy users the power to disable low-battery screen dimming, enhancing usability at critical levels.

In the upcoming One UI 7, Samsung is introducing a new feature for Galaxy devices that allows users to disable the automatic screen dimming when the battery level drops below 5%. This auto-dim function, which dims the screen to about 5% brightness, can make the phone difficult to use in low-battery situations. The toggle to turn off this feature can be found in Settings > Battery > Auto dim screen. Samsung has also made improvements to power management in the Galaxy S25 series, aiming for better battery life in daily use. One UI 7 will roll out to Galaxy S24 devices soon and come pre-installed on the Galaxy S25 series.
