One UI 8 Boosts Samsung Devices with Expanded Virtual RAM

One UI 8 to Boost Virtual RAM for Samsung Devices
Samsung is set to enhance its virtual RAM (RAM Plus) capabilities with the upcoming One UI 8. This improvement addresses the stagnation in physical RAM across recent Galaxy device generations, such as the Galaxy S25 series, which retained 12GB of RAM from the previous generation. One UI 8 will introduce a new 12GB option for RAM Plus, expanding the current limits of 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB available in One UI 7.
The increase in virtual RAM will allow more apps to run smoothly in the background, enhancing overall device performance. By leveraging internal storage, Samsung can provide this additional memory without requiring hardware upgrades. While One UI 8 is not expected to introduce major changes, it will offer valuable tweaks like the expanded RAM Plus feature.
