Pebble Smartwatches Make a Stunning Return with the Core 2 Duo and Core Time 2, Featuring 30-Day Battery Life

Pebble smartwatches are making a comeback in 2025 with the launch of the Core 2 Duo and Core Time 2 by Eric Migicovsky’s new company, Core Devices. The Core 2 Duo is a reboot of the Pebble 2 from 2016, featuring a 1.26-inch black and white e-paper display, IPX8 water resistance, step and sleep tracking, and a significant battery life improvement to 30 days. The Core Time 2, an updated version of the never-released Pebble Time 2, includes a 1.5-inch color e-paper display, metal body, heart rate monitor, touchscreen, and the same 30-day battery life. Both models will run open-source PebbleOS, allowing for flexibility in setup through various apps or custom builds. The Core 2 Duo will be available for $149 starting in July 2025, with limited initial production, while the Core Time 2 will be released in December 2025 for $229.
