Photoshop Finally Touches Down on iPhone: A New Era for Mobile Creatives
Photoshop Now Available on iPhone
Five years after its debut on the iPad, Adobe has finally released Photoshop for the iPhone. The app features a completely overhauled user interface designed specifically for mobile devices, making it intuitive and easy to use. Key features include non-destructive editing, familiar tools like selections, layers, and masks, as well as the Tap Select tool for replacing, removing, or recoloring parts of images. The Spot Healing Brush is also available, allowing users to remove distractions seamlessly.
Adobe Firefly generation features such as generative fill and expand are included at no cost. Premium features, which require a subscription, include access to Photoshop on the web, expanded Firefly tools, over 20,000 fonts, advanced selection tools, removal and editing tools, and more. The app is free to download, with premium features available through existing Creative Cloud plans or a standalone purchase for $7.99 per month or $69.99 annually.
Photoshop on iPhone requires iOS 17 and will be available from the App Store later today. Adobe has also announced that the app will be coming to Android later this year.
