Exclusive: Pixel 10 set to feature MediaTek’s unreleased T900 modem for improved battery life and heat performance

A new report reveals that Google is switching from using a Samsung modem in the Pixel phones to a new MediaTek modem for the upcoming Pixel 10 series, in an effort to improve battery life and heat issues that have plagued earlier Tensor efforts. According to documents, Google considered a Qualcomm Snapdragon X75 modem but ultimately decided on MediaTek's T900 modem, which has not yet been released or detailed.
