Pixel 8a Sees Significant Discounts Globally but Remains Priced at $499 in the US

The Pixel 8a sees significant discounts across most regions except the US, making it a better deal for buyers outside of America as Google launches the newer Pixel 9a.

With the release of the Pixel 9a, Google has discontinued the Pixel 7a in its online store. The Pixel 8a, however, remains available but is discounted significantly across most regions outside the US, where it still retains its original price of $499. In the UK and Europe, the Pixel 8a is now priced at £399 and €449, respectively, down from £499 and €549. This pricing discrepancy makes the 8a a less attractive option compared to the newer model in the US market. The Pixel 9a introduces several improvements over its predecessor, including an updated design, better display, and enhanced AI features. Despite this, the Pixel 8a continues to receive OS updates for up to six years and maintains strong specs and camera performance.
