Pixel 9 Outshines iPhone 16 and Galaxy S25 in Real-World Battery Test

In a rigorous, real-world battery test that lasted over 7 hours, the Google Pixel 9 outperformed both the Samsung Galaxy S25 and the iPhone 16. The test, conducted by YouTuber 'Lover of Tech,' simulated various realistic usage scenarios to assess each phone's battery life and thermal performance. Despite some initial concerns about battery life in earlier Pixel models, the Pixel 9 managed to last 6 hours and 56 minutes on a full charge, compared to the Galaxy S25's 5 hours and 36 minutes and the iPhone 16's 6 hours and 7 minutes.
The test included activities such as recording at 4K 60fps, Instagram Live streaming, TikTok scrolling, YouTube viewing, listening to music, Twitter Spaces, gaming, and WhatsApp video calls. The Pixel 9 also performed well in terms of temperature management, staying relatively cool throughout the test. The phone's larger 4,700mAh battery contributed to its longer-lasting performance, while the Galaxy S25 and iPhone 16 had smaller capacities at 4,000mAh and 3,561mAh, respectively.
