Pixel 9a Misses Out on Key Android 15 QPR2 Features, Stuck with December Build

The Pixel 9a is currently running Android 15 QPR1 with the April 2025 security patch, instead of the latest QPR2 update released in March. This means it's missing several new features such as customizable 'Modes,' a notification cooldown feature, battery percentage ring in Bluetooth settings, and an updated Wi-Fi QR code sharing design. Google states that these features will not be available on the Pixel 9a until the next quarterly update, expected in June, which should bring Android 16. The delay is due to stability concerns and carrier testing requirements.
