Pixel Watch Gets a New Twist with Briefly Appearing App Icons in Tiles
The Pixel Watch has received a minor tweak with the update to Wear OS 5.1, introducing app icons to Tiles for a brief moment when swiping through them. This design element, which dates back to the launch of Wear OS 3 in 2021, provides a quick visual indicator of which app is responsible for each Tile. The feature has been enabled on Pixel Watches recently, and it appears after updating to Wear OS 5.1, though it is not strictly tied to the Android 15 update. Despite being a small change, it enhances the user experience by providing clearer context for Tiles.
