Pixel Weather Update Brings Handy Date Display and Easy Location Saving
Google's Pixel Weather app gets a handy update with date visibility and an easy location save feature, plus new snowfall forecasts for some users.
Pixel Weather Update Brings Useful Enhancements
In its latest update, v1.0.20250127.729684887, Google's Pixel Weather app has introduced a couple of small but useful features to enhance user experience:
- Date Visibility: The app now displays the date under each day in the 10-day weather forecast, making it easier to associate specific forecasts with dates.
- Location Saving: A new 'Save' button has been added when viewing the weather for your current location, allowing you to save that location directly to the app's homepage. Previously, this required a manual search.
Additionally, Google is testing a snowfall forecast feature in Pixel Weather, which includes hourly snowfall estimates and intensity information. This new card has been spotted by SmartDroid but hasn't rolled out widely yet. If you see it, consider sharing your experience.
