Porch Pirates Access AT&T Data to Track iPhone Deliveries
Porch pirates appear to be accessing AT&T data to track iPhone deliveries

A new report suggests that porch pirates, thieves who steal packages left on doorsteps, have accessed tracking data from AT&T systems to track iPhone deliveries. There has been an increase in iPhones being stolen from doorsteps after being ordered from AT&T and delivered by FedEx. Thieves are getting real-time delivery updates, allowing them to steal the phones right when they're delivered. It's suspected that rogue AT&T employees may be selling this data to thieves.
