Powerbeats Pro 2 Receives Major Firmware Update: What's New?

Powerbeats Pro 2 receives its first major firmware update since launching last month, bringing potential bug fixes and performance enhancements to the athlete-focused earbuds.

Powerbeats Pro 2 Firmware Update Apple has released a new firmware update (build 7B30) for the Powerbeats Pro 2, which debuted in February as the successor to Beats' popular athlete-focused earbuds. The new model features an Apple H2 chip, a slimmer design, and heart rate monitoring. This is the first significant update since the launch and is expected to include bug fixes and performance improvements. Firmware updates are installed automatically while charging and in range of a paired iPhone or other device. To check the firmware version, go to the iOS Settings app, then open Powerbeats Pro 2 settings and look for the Version number in the About section.
