Project Aims to Preserve iPod Clickwheel Games
A new project aims to preserve the games made for iPod's click wheel, from Sonic the Hedgehog to Pokemon, and 52 other titles. With 42 games already found, the goal is to ensure they can still be played on working devices.
A new project called the iPod Clickwheel Games Preservation Project has been launched to preserve the titles for the original iPod with a click wheel. A small loophole in Apple's DRM for these games allows backups to be made. This project aims to make sure that even if an individual iPod breaks, the games are not lost.
