Protect Your Android Phone with Theft Protection Features

Android's new theft protection feature locks your phone when it detects it's been stolen, giving you time to deactivate or erase the device before the thief gains access.

Theft Protection is a new feature in Android that helps protect your phone from thieves.

It includes various tools like Theft Detection Lock, which locks the phone when it detects suspicion of being taken away or Offline Device Lock, which locks after the device goes offline. It doesn’t provide a perfect solution but gives the user enough time to deactivate the stolen phone via the Find My Device app on another tablet. You can even erase the data if needed.

The feature is available through Google Play Services and not tied specifically to Android 15.
