Protect Your Pixel's Battery: Set Charging Limit to 80%

Google's Pixel phones can now set charging limits to prevent the phone from charging past 80%. This setting is designed to save battery life in the long-term and could save money for users who plan on keeping their device for a long period of time.

In an update to Android 15, Google's Pixel phones can now set charging limits to prevent the phone from charging past 80%. This setting is designed to preserve battery health over time by reducing the number of full charge cycles. Users can choose between adaptive charging, which charges the device up to 100% just before it is typically unplugged, and limiting the charge to 80%, which never allows the battery to go beyond that level. The feature is available on Android 15 Pixel devices and may be offered under a different name for other devices.
