Capcom has released 'Resident Evil 3' for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, expanding the horror franchise to Apple's platforms. The game can be downloaded for free from the App Store, with a $9.99 in-app purchase required to unlock the full base game. An additional $1.99 in-app purchase unlocks all in-game rewards.

Plot

The story follows Jill Valentine and the S.T.A.R.S. police unit as they investigate the T-Virus outbreak in Raccoon City, uncovering an Umbrella Corporation conspiracy. Players must navigate through the city while evading Nemesis, a relentless foe created by the corporation.

This latest release follows other entries from the series, including 'Resident Evil 7: Biohazard' and 'Resident Evil 2,' which were previously made available on Apple's platforms.
