In a move to preserve gaming history, QUByte announced that Glover and the Street Racer Collection will receive significant free updates on the Nintendo Switch in 2027. These updates will integrate the PlayStation 1 versions of both titles, allowing players to compare the different console iterations of the late 90s. While Glover is often associated with the N64, its PS1 counterpart featured specific variations that retro enthusiasts have long requested. The upcoming patches ensure that owners of the current Switch releases get the complete multi-platform experience at no additional charge.
