Samsung Announces April Rollout for Android 15 Update, Six Months After Initial Release

Samsung's Android 15 Update Delayed but Set for April Release
Samsung has announced that the long-awaited Android 15 update, packaged as One UI 7, will begin rolling out to older Galaxy devices starting in April. This comes nearly six months after Google’s initial release of Android 15 in September 2024. The delay is unusual for Samsung, which has typically rolled out new Android updates to its last-gen Galaxy devices within 1-3 months.
The first beta update for the Galaxy S24 series was delayed until December, and only recently has Samsung expanded its beta program to more devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, S23, and Tab S10. Despite these delays, the official release is now set, providing relief to many frustrated users.
One UI 7 includes significant updates and features, making the wait potentially worthwhile for Samsung users.
