Samsung Confirms OLED MacBook Pro Launch in 2026; MacBook Air OLED Delayed Until at Least 2029

Samsung Display has confirmed that OLED MacBook Pro models will launch in 2026, with the company currently producing sample displays and expecting full production next year. The redesigned MacBook Pro will feature a punch-hole webcam, a thinner and lighter form factor, and is expected to have an annual shipment of 3 million to 5 million units. Meanwhile, the OLED transition for the MacBook Air has been pushed back to after 2029, with the device likely to receive a less advanced single-stack display compared to the two-stack tandem displays in the MacBook Pro.
