Samsung Ditches Advanced Lock Screen Customization in One UI 7 Update

Samsung ditches advanced lock screen customization in One UI 7, leaving users without the ability to tailor notification appearances.

Samsung is removing the ability to customize lock screen notifications in its LockStar module, part of the Good Lock app suite, with the release of One UI 7. While LockStar remains available and functional for other purposes, users will no longer be able to change notification colors or sizes on their Galaxy devices' lock screens after upgrading. Samsung has confirmed this is an intentional decision rather than a bug, and they may reconsider if customer demand is significant. The company has stated that while the feature won't be supported in One UI 7 for now, LockStar will continue to offer other features and updates.
