Samsung finally adopts vertically scrolling app drawer in One UI 7 update

Samsung has finally introduced a vertically scrolling app drawer to its Galaxy smartphones with the launch of its One UI 7 beta. This change brings Samsung in line with other Android phones, which have largely adopted vertical scrolling app drawers. Users can no longer choose to use a horizontally scrolling, paginated view by default, but can switch to a "Custom" sorting order to restore the pages. Other new settings include changing the homescreen and app drawer to have five columns instead of four, adjusting app icon sizes, turning off app labels, and turning on labels for widgets.
