Samsung's Galaxy S25 Edge, a mysterious standalone release with a thinner body and lighter weight, is expected to cost around $1,000.

Samsung's Galaxy S25 Edge: A Lightweight, Thinner Outlier

Samsung introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge as a standalone release, diverging from its usual trio of flagship phones. This device is notable for its lighter weight (162g) and thinner body (6mm), blending characteristics of the Galaxy S25 and S25+. Despite having fewer cameras (two instead of three) and a slightly smaller battery (3,900mAh vs 4,000mAh), it is expected to be priced similarly to the Galaxy S25+ at around $1,200. The Galaxy S25 Edge is set to launch on April 16 during another Unpacked event.
