Samsung has commenced the rollout of One UI 7 for its Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 devices, starting in South Korea on April 7, 2025. The update, which follows a delay of nearly six months after Google's release of Android 15, is approximately 5.2GB in size and includes the April 2025 security patch. The firmware versions for these updates are S928NKSU4BYCG for Galaxy S24 models, F956NKSU2BYCK for Z Fold 6, F741NKSU2BYCJ for Z Flip 6, and F958NKSU2BYCK for the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. The rollout is expected to expand to other devices like the Galaxy S24 FE, Tab S10 series, and last-generation models, with the US receiving updates from April 10. Samsung has also announced plans for One UI 8 based on Android 16, potentially launching as early as July alongside new foldables.
