Samsung Launches Slimmer, Lighter Galaxy Z Fold 'Special Edition' in Korea

Samsung has released a special edition of its Galaxy Z Fold device exclusively for the South Korean market. This new variant features a thinner and lighter design compared to the global version, measuring 10.6mm thick versus 12.1mm. The internal and external displays are also slightly larger at 8 inches with a 20:18 aspect ratio. Other upgrades include 165GB of RAM for improved Galaxy AI performance and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The rear panel has been redesigned with a striped glass back, and the camera array now includes a 200MP sensor for enhanced photo quality. This special edition is currently only available in South Korea and may eventually be released in China, but it's unlikely to have a global rollout.
