Samsung Nears Completion of Advanced Smart Glasses with Display and Gesture Recognition for 2025 Release

Samsung is reportedly finalizing a pair of smart glasses codenamed 'HAEAN,' which are expected to be released later this year. The glasses will feature a built-in display to show information or images on the lenses, along with speakers for audio feedback. Samsung is focusing on ergonomic design and gesture recognition through cameras and sensors, avoiding physical buttons or remote controls. Previous rumors suggested that the first pair of Samsung smart glasses would not include a display, but recent developments indicate otherwise. The company also teased these glasses at its Unpacked event earlier this year. 'HAEAN' could be unveiled by the end of 2025, possibly alongside Samsung’s Android XR headset, 'Project Moohan.'
