Samsung Unveils New Galaxy A-Series Trio with One UI 7, Paving the Way for Affordability and Innovation

Samsung Expands One UI 7 with New Galaxy A-series Phones

Samsung has announced the launch of three new Galaxy A-series phones—the Galaxy A26, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A56—each coming pre-installed with One UI 7 based on Android 15. These devices will be available in the US starting March 26, 2025, with varying release dates and pricing:

  • Galaxy A26: $299, launching on March 28, features a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, Exynos 1380 chipset, 50MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro, with a 13MP front-facing camera.
  • Galaxy A36: $399, launching on March 26, includes a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, 50MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro, with a 12MP front-facing camera.
  • Galaxy A56: $499, launching later in the year, boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, Exynos 1580 chipset, 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro, with a 12MP front-facing camera.

All three devices come with 128GB of storage, 6GB or 8GB of RAM (depending on the model), and a 5,000 mAh battery. They are also IP67 certified and will receive 6 years of Android OS and security updates.

Samsung has not yet announced plans for rolling out One UI 7 to its existing devices, despite delays in the update's release.
