Samsung's Galaxy S25 Edge Shocks with Feather-Light Build, Thanks to Tiny Battery

Samsung's Galaxy S25 Edge is surprisingly light for its size, thanks to a significantly smaller battery pack.

Summary Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge is reported to be incredibly thin and surprisingly light, despite its large screen size of around 6.7 inches. According to leaker Ice Universe, the device weighs under 162 grams, which is even lighter than the base Galaxy S25 with a smaller 6.2-inch display that weighs 162 grams. This significant reduction in weight is attributed to the Galaxy S25 Edge's smaller battery capacity of 3,900 mAh, compared to the 4,000 mAh found in the base model.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to launch in April and measures a thin 5.84mm. The device was unveiled during Samsung’s Unpacked event, where it was compared to previous models like the Galaxy S24+ to highlight its thinner design.
