Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 7 Leaks: Bigger Displays but No Thinner Profile
Galaxy Z Flip 7 Design and Display Leaks
Samsung’s upcoming foldable flip phone, the Galaxy Z Flip 7, is expected to maintain a similar design to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 6. According to new CAD-based renders shared by Android Headlines, the device will not be thinner but will have slightly larger dimensions. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 measures 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9mm, compared to the 165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9mm of the Z Flip 6.
The primary changes are in the display sizes. The internal display is rumored to increase from 6.7 inches to 6.8 inches, while the outer cover screen will grow from 3.4 inches to approximately 3.6 inches. Despite these increases, the thickness remains unchanged at about 15mm when closed.
This approach contrasts with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is expected to undergo more significant changes, including a thinner profile and larger displays. The Galaxy Z Flip 7's camera setup is also rumored to remain consistent with previous models, indicating that Samsung is focusing on incremental improvements rather than major overhauls.
