Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 7: Camera Upgrades on the Horizon
Samsung is reportedly gearing up to release the Galaxy Z Fold 7 with significant camera improvements. The flagship foldable device is expected to feature a 200MP main rear camera, similar to the one found in the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra. This marks a substantial upgrade over previous models, where foldable cameras have often lagged behind those of regular smartphones.
In addition to the high-resolution main camera, the Z Fold 7 will retain other familiar sensors: a 10MP telephoto, a 12MP ultrawide, and another 10MP sensor on the outer display for selfies. However, the most notable improvement is expected in the inner display camera, which, while still at 4MP, will reportedly see enhancements to its performance, possibly due to better under-display camera technology.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is slated for a July launch and is anticipated to be one of Samsung's most significant foldable device upgrades. The improvements aim to address long-standing complaints about the camera quality on foldable devices, making it a compelling choice for photography enthusiasts.
