Samsung's Next Big Update for Galaxy Watch: Smaller, More Efficient Tiles on the Horizon

Samsung is set to shake up the Galaxy Watch interface with new half-size 'pill' tiles and updated designs in One UI 8, potentially making it easier to access key information on the go.

Samsung's Upcoming One UI 8 for Galaxy Watch Samsung is set to introduce a significant update to the Galaxy Watch with One UI 8, which includes new tile designs and features. The current tiles on the Galaxy Watch are functional but can be clunky at times, especially for displaying single data points. According to leaked images (via SammyGuru), Samsung will introduce half-size 'pill' tiles that take up only half of the screen, allowing for more flexibility in layout. Additionally, Samsung Health and Calendar tiles will receive a new look.

One innovative feature mentioned is the 'Antioxidant Index,' which will display carotene levels using color-coded zones (orange, yellow, and blue). This feature will be available as both half and full-size tiles. The One UI 8 update is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy Watch 8 later this year.
