Samsung's One UI 7 Update Takes Inspiration from iOS [Gallery]
Samsung's One UI 7 update is huge and for the most part, pretty good but there are some clear influences from iOS. The update introduces features like 'Now Bar' and 'Live Notifications', app icon sizes and widget names similar to iOS, a redesigned multitasking page, new battery icon and charging animation, and separated notification tray and Quick Settings.

Samsung's One UI 7 update for Android 15 includes several features that have seemingly been inspired by iOS, such as the 'Now Bar' and 'Live Notifications,' which replicate Dynamic Island functionality; app icon size customization and showing widget names, both of which were introduced in iOS 18; a multitasking page nearly identical to what is found in iOS; a new battery icon that looks similar to Apple's with a green charging animation; and split notification and Quick Settings trays.
