Samsung is reportedly planning to change the technology used in its S Pen stylus for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7, taking inspiration from Apple's Apple Pencil. The switch from electromagnetic resonance (EMR) tech to active electrostatic (AES) tech would allow Samsung to make the device thinner while retaining S Pen support, albeit at the cost of requiring users to charge the accessory.
