Smart Connect Evolves: Motorola and Lenovo Bring Seamless Device Integration to All Androids

Motorola and Lenovo’s Smart Connect app, originally designed for integrating Windows machines with Motorola and Lenovo smartphones and tablets, is expanding its capabilities and compatibility. New features include an AI-powered search function that allows users to find files and photos across all connected devices using natural language commands, enhancing the app's user-friendly interface. Additionally, Smart Connect now supports initiating a phone’s hotspot from a laptop and running apps from a phone on a laptop, tablet, or TV with gestures and voice commands. While some features like app mirroring and AI search remain exclusive to Motorola and Lenovo devices, basic file searching and other functionalities will be available for all Android devices via the Play Store. The app also adds support for IoT devices such as Moto Tag and Motorola-branded smartwatches, further expanding its ecosystem.
