Google Voice has introduced an easier method for transferring personal phone numbers to Google Workspace business accounts. This new feature is designed for Google Workspace customers with the Google Voice Starter, Standard, or Premier add-on, allowing them to seamlessly carry their personal number over as their business grows. Users can transfer their number by visiting voice.google.com, navigating to Account Settings, and selecting 'Transfer your number to another Voice account.' The process involves entering the personal Google Voice number and the associated Google Workspace email address. An enterprise admin must then approve the request through the Admin console. Once approved, the number will be transferred immediately, ensuring continuity for users transitioning to a business account.
