Sony has introduced the Lytia 910, its debut sensor utilizing Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor (LOFIC) technology to achieve an impressive 100dB dynamic range. By using a specialized capacitor to capture excess charge from saturated photodiodes, the sensor prevents overexposure in bright lighting while maintaining detail in shadows. The Lytia 910 also features Triple Conversion Gain, allowing for high-quality single-exposure HDR stills and smooth 4K 60fps HDR video capture, marking a significant leap forward for high-end mobile photography.
